GreenCheck updated again
April 24, 2007
I've updated GreenCheck with support for a few new networks. The program now supports 128 individual sites.

Somethin 4 Nothin launches, GreenCheck updated!
February 14, 2007
I've got some big news today. I have launched my own freebie network, Somethin 4 Nothin. There are currently six sites in the network, including a refer-as-few-people-as-you-want Points site. We've got 60+ gifts to choose from, and I'm excited about a monthly contest we will begin holding soon.

Even though I have my own network now, I will continue to maintain this site here, and will support as many other networks as I can in GreenCheck. Today I added support for three other networks.

Large update
January 18, 2007
I did a lot of maintenance on the sites guide. I added the 123StuffForFree network, I removed the GetFriends network, removed a couple of sections that I'm sure nobody cares about (handbags, portable dvd), and I added a few Free4Me sites that I was missing. Soon I'd like to add a Misc section for oddball gifts, and check if I can't find more networks offering HDTVs, laptops, and other items that currently only have one or two sites listed.

Another small update
January 6, 2007
I added a proof pic for the laptop I received from iDeal back in September. I also updated the FAQ regarding people who don't have a credit card, and the new virtual card that PayPal offers.

As far as GreenCheck goes, it still is not working with Trainn, and I have not updated the program in a long time. I hope to eventually, but it's just not on my priority list right now. It is open-source tho, so if you know some VB feel free to make the needed changes...

I heard an ad on the radio for a freebie site, xboxfreezone.com (also goes by the name of easyfreexbox.com). Naturally, since it's advertised I knew it'd be a ripoff (legit sites don't profit that much), so I went and checked it out. Surprisingly xboxfreezone doesn't throw satellite tv offers and other expensive crap at you when you get to the last page of offers, but it's still probably twice as expensive as any other site. You hafta do 3 offers each on 3 pages, for only the $300 Xbox 360 model.

Getting back into gear...
January 4, 2007
I'm gonna finally update the site again. I've been slacking as of late. First for today is some new proof pics of my $1000 check, and some sorta-proof pics of my other two recent checks. More updates should come over the next couple of days.

Received a $1000 check
December 14, 2006
I received a $1000 check from another i-Deal Direct site on Monday, in liue of an HDTV. Nothing in the proof section for it yet, but I'll add it along with the other check I'm getting from NanoIpod4free here real soon.

An easy way to get referrals?
November 18, 2006
First, I just want to announce that GreenCheck has won an Editor's Choice award from SoftPlatz.com. Check it out

Now to my main point: I recently heard of an eBook that's supposed to tell you free and innovative ways to get lots of referrals. The eBook itself is not free, but I've heard from a couple of people that it's worth the money and is quite effective. I've yet to try check it out, but I think I'll give it a go. The author's website is here.

GreenCheck news
November 10, 2006
On October 31 GreenCheck's source code was released. Forgot to mention it here before. Just updated the program again to fix support for the FCA network.

Various news
October 4, 2006
I updated GreenCheck again. Refer to the version history to see what has changed.

I received a $90 check from FreeComputerAddons, but I forgot to take a Proof picture before I cashed it. It did come with some nifty business cards I could take a picture of tho...

I won for a 4th time on Blingo. Chose an iTunes gift card this time hoping I can sell it. Blingo has added some new prizes, including a Mustang, so I hope I win big next time... There's a link to Blingo in the Links section if you want to sign up.

I'll be adding some new freebie sites to the site database here soon. Today or tomorrow.

Received a laptop; GreenCheck problems
September 14, 2006
I received a very nice, dual-core laptop from an iDeal DIY site. No proof pictures yet, but they wouldn't be very exciting anyway. I'm not even opening the box; I'm selling it on eBay. You can bid on it here.

Trainn updated their website and now GreenCheck doesn't work with their sites. I'll get a new version released fairly soon to fix it. I'm also having problems with my Gaming.Free4Me, so I'll be sure to fix it as well.

UPDATE: I updated the link to the eBay auction. Had to relist the item cause the first buyer was a scammer (eBay has banned him now)

Some site updates
August 9, 2006
Updated GreenCheck again with a handy new feature that gives you easy access to your ref links, from GreenCheck's tray icon. Set them up in the Settings dialog, and they'll be listed in a submenu of the tray icon. Clicking on the name of the site will copy your ref link to the clipboard. This way you can look up your ref links once, add it into GreenCheck, and not have to hunt them up every time you need to give them out.

BTW, I won for a third time on Blingo. You might want to check this site out if you haven't yet. There's a link in the uh, Links section.

Some site updates
July 26, 2006
I added a new proof pic for FreeComputerAddons (got a $160 check). I also made some small site updates, in the Cash section and elsewhere. GreenCheck was updated a couple of times too recently, without mention in the news section.
